Comments:
I've been a Chronic Future listener since I got Burnout 3: Takedown on PS2 two years ago (they have the hit Time And Time Again on the soundtrack) and I got the awesome album Lines In My Face around 4-5 months later. It was hard to find but it was worth the look! Now, the Modern Art EP has defintely exceeded the standards of Lines In My Face. I haven't got the original Chronic Future (which was recorded when the band members' average age was 14) so I can't complete my timeline, but I think this EP has made a huge change to the previous limited edition album This And Of That. It's fast pace electro sound makes the album really awesome and I listened to the earlier punk style version of Rocket Science and their work has gone more electro compared the "more guitar, less effects" style of earlier albums including Lines In My Face and 4 Elements. Mike Busse's vocals have become more clear, for example; during the second verse of Rocket Science, on the line: "next to me and I kissed her": on the demo it sounds more like "kitster" then "kissed her" where as on the Modern Art version, it 's the other way round with it sounding more like "kissed her" than "kitster". So overall, this album is completely awesome and that's why I had to put a link for the album on this post. Oh, by the way, Chronic Future has a new album coming out in summer (at least that was what is expected).
